Treatments is Michael Dauphinais (piano, concertina, melodica, percussion, voice) and Stephan Moore (live audio processing matrix). They live in Tucson, Arizona and Chicago, Illinois, respectively, and have been musical collaborators for nearly 30 years. This is their first album.
These tracks were recorded over Zoom as live performances, with no overdubs or post-processing and only light edits. In some cases, portions of complementary sessions have been concatenated. Treatments played this music during a series of weekly sessions on Wednesday mornings during March, April and May of 2021.
Treatments thanks: Pat for his amazing support and collaboration, Doug for masterful ears, Ina, Marie, Erin, family & friends for the love.
